Privacy Policy

Fluffington (the “Service”) handles the information entrusted to us as follows. So that you can entrust your beloved pet’s photos with peace of mind, we describe the handling of photos in the most detail.

1. Information we collect

・Pet photos (uploaded for character generation and applications)
・Account information (an automatically issued anonymous ID; an email address when you link an account)
・The contact email you enter when applying (used to notify you of selection results)
・Payment information (payments are processed by Stripe; card numbers are never stored by the Service)
・Cookies (used to keep your login state and language setting; we do not track you for advertising)
・Access logs (for fraud prevention and troubleshooting)

2. Handling of pet photos

・Metadata such as location information in photos is automatically deleted on saving
・Photos are stored in access-controlled private storage and cannot be viewed by anyone but you
・For character generation, photos are sent to AI image-generation services (Microsoft Azure OpenAI / OpenAI). We use these under settings and contracts where submitted images are not used to train AI
・We never publish the original photo itself on the site or in videos

3. Purposes of use

・Generating character images, changing outfits, and saving on My Page
・Receiving video-appearance applications, selection, and notifying results
・Video production if selected
・Preventing misuse and responding to inquiries

4. Provision to / entrustment to third parties

Except as required by law, we do not provide collected information to third parties. To provide the Service, we entrust processing to the following providers:
・Google Cloud / Firebase (data storage and authentication)
・Microsoft Azure OpenAI / OpenAI (character image generation)
・Stripe (payment processing)

5. About publication in videos

If your application is selected, the generated character appears and is published in YouTube videos, thumbnails, announcements, and the like. What is published is the character image, not the original pet photo itself.

6. Retention and deletion

You can delete generated images and characters from My Page at any time. If you wish to delete all information tied to your account, please contact us below; we will delete it after confirmation.

7. Security

All communication is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to stored data is limited to the authenticated user and to the minimum privileges necessary for operation.
