Fluffington Terms of Service
These Terms set out the conditions for using Fluffington (the “Service”). By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
- Article 1 (The Service)
- The Service provides features to generate a town-resident-style character image from a pet photo, change the character’s outfit, save characters (My Page), and apply for your pet to appear in the YouTube videos we produce.
- Article 2 (Accounts)
- On first use, the Service automatically issues an anonymous account per browser. Changing browsers or clearing data may make the anonymous account inaccessible. After the official launch, we will offer linking via a Google account or email address; linked accounts can carry over their characters and tickets.
- Article 3 (Preview period)
- Through August 14, 2026, during the preview period, you may try character generation for free with no usage limit (we may set a daily cap at busy times). Characters created during the preview period carry over to My Page after the official launch. After the preview period ends, the Service moves to a free allowance (3 generations per person) plus a ticket system. The switch is based on Japan Standard Time; due to time differences it may be later than stated but never earlier.
- Article 4 (Tickets)
- Tickets are sold at 500 yen (tax included) for 5 uses, and one is consumed per character generation or outfit change. If generation fails, no ticket is consumed (it is returned automatically). Tickets cannot be transferred, resold, or refunded (see the Legal Notice for details). Tickets are unrelated to video-appearance applications or selection.
- Article 5 (Applying to appear in videos)
- Applying to appear in videos is free for anyone. Whether or not you buy tickets has no effect whatsoever on selection. When applying, you agree to the following three points:
1. Apply only with photos you took yourself or for which you hold the rights
2. Do not use images that infringe the copyright, likeness rights, or other rights of third parties (character merchandise, photos of others’ pets, etc.)
3. As a rule, do not delete videos once selected and published (you may decline to appear at any time before publication) - Article 6 (Prohibited actions)
- The following are prohibited:
・Uploading photos you do not hold the rights to (uploaded photos must be ones you took yourself or for which you have the rights holder’s permission)
・Uploading photos that include people (including children), or photos of others’ pets
・Uploading images that infringe third-party copyright, likeness, or other rights, or images contrary to public order and morals
・Unauthorized access, or bulk access/generation using automated tools
・Using generated images to harass third parties, commit fraud, or other illegal acts - Article 7 (Handling of generated works)
- You may freely use generated character images for personal purposes such as your own social-media posts and wallpapers. The Service may use generated characters for video production and for introducing or promoting the Service (site, social media, thumbnails, etc.). We never publish the original pet photo itself.
- Article 8 (Disclaimer)
- Character generation uses AI, and we do not guarantee the accuracy or fidelity of the results. The Service may change, suspend, or end its content with prior notice. Except in cases of intent or gross negligence by the Service, our liability for damages arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount of the purchase price. If a dispute with a third party arises from a user’s breach of these Terms, the user resolves it at their own responsibility and expense, and the Service bears no responsibility.
- Article 9 (Changes to the Terms)
- These Terms may be changed as needed. We will announce important changes on the site.
- Article 10 (Governing law and jurisdiction)
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The court having jurisdiction over the operator’s location shall be the exclusive court of first instance for disputes concerning the Service.
